WebQuest Evaluation tool was used by students to help identify components of
existing WebQuest that they would like to consider when they create their WebQuest.

5. Why did you choose this tool in particular? Was it the
only one available? Was it better than others that you had encountered?
These
tools were created to enhance the understanding of the components of a
WebQuest, which gave students timely feedback and information so they could
successfully meet the criteria listed in the WebQuest Rubric.
6. When did you use this tool? Please give potential users
any information you feel they would need to properly use this instrument, such
as the timing (e.g., beginning or end of the semester) or context in which it
should be used (e.g., on the same day that students fill out their instructor
evaluations).

WebQuest Feedback– After students create their first draft of their WebQuest
they self-evaluate and then use the tool to provide feedback to their peers.
Students are given time to improve their WebQuest based on the feedback.

WebQuest Rubric –The students score their WebQuest and attach the final
product. The teacher scores the WebQuest using the same
rubric and provides feedback to the students.

8. What did you do with your results
2) WebQuest Feedback– Information is used as a formative
assessment used as feedback to improve their created WebQuest. Identifying the missing components and
suggestions from peers on how to improve their WebQuest.
3) WebQuest Rubric – Teacher scores the student created
WebQuest and the score is part of a Summative Assessment for the course.
